Orgel-Improvisationskonzert

Der internationale Preisträger Enno Gröhn gestaltet Improvisationen in unterschiedlichsten Stilen an der neuen Winterhalter-Orgel (2025).

Darunter: "Kalkberg, Segeberger See und Höhlenkäfer" aus der "Segeberger Orgelsymphonie".

Außerdem kann das Publikum am Abend unterschiedliche Improvisationsthemen einreichen.

Der Eintritt beträgt 15,- €. Karten gibt es nur an der Abendkasse, die um 16.15 Uhr öffnet.

Enno Gröhn (1996*) ist ein deutscher Organist, Kirchenmusiker und Dozent für

Orgelimprovisation.

Direkt nach seinem Abitur bekleidete er mit 19 Jahren das Amt einer vollen

Kantorenstelle in Rickling, Schleswig-Holstein. In dieser Zeit wurden u.a.

eigene Kompositionen für Orgel, Chor, Orchester, aber auch in der

Popularmusik aufgeführt.

Enno Gröhn studierte Bachelor und Master Kirchenmusik an der Hochschule

für Musik und Theater in Hamburg in den Orgelklassen von Prof. Wolfgang

Zerer, Prof. Jan Ernst und Prof. Pieter van Dijk, Chorleitung bei Prof. Annedore

Hacker-Jakobi.

Während des Studiums war er 2019-2021 Organist der Kreiskantorenstelle an

der St. Petri-Kirche in Buxtehude und 2021 Vakanzorganist in der Hauptkirche

St. Michaelis (Michel). Enno Gröhn war von 2021-2023 kirchenmusikalischer

Assistent und Organist an der Hauptkirche St. Petri.

Er ist mehrfacher Preisträger im Bereich der Orgelimprovisation:

Im Juli 2022 gewann er den 1. Preis und Publikumspreis des Bach Biennale

Improvisationswettbewerbs in Weimar.

Im September 2022 belegte er den 1. Platz am Kölner Wettbewerb für

Orgelimprovisation in der Trinitatiskirche. Im Juli 2023 gewann er den 1. Preis

und Publikumspreis am 18. internationalen Wettbewerb für Orgelimprovisation

in Schwäbisch Gmünd.

Im Juli 2024 gewann er den 1. Preis (Piet-Kee-Award) und Publikumspreis

beim internationalen Wettbewerb für Orgelimprovisation in Haarlem (NL).

Von 2022 bis 2025 unterrichtete er Orgelimprovisation an der Hochschule für

Kirchenmusik in Herford. Seit Oktober 2024 unterrichtet er Orgelimprovisation

an der Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg und an der Hochschule

für Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover.

Als Organist und Improvisator geht einer internationalen Konzerttätigkeit nach.

Für das Jahr 2026 ist Enno Gröhn Leipziger Universitätsorganist an der

Universitätskirche St. Pauli.

Enno Gröhn (born 1996) is a German organist, church musician, and lecturer in

organ improvisation. Immediately after graduating from high school, he took on

the position of a full cantor in Rickling, Schleswig-Holstein, at the age of 19.

During this time, his own compositions for organ, choir, orchestra, and even

popular music were performed. From 2018 to 2024 he studied church music at

the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg in the organ classes of Prof.

Wolfgang Zerer, Prof. Jan Ernst, and Prof. Pieter van Dijk, as well as choral

conducting with Prof. Annedore Hacker-Jakobi.

During his studies, he served as the organist for the district cantorate at St. Petri

Church in Buxtehude from 2019 to 2021 and was a vacancy organist at St.

Michaelis Church (Michel) in 2021. From 2021 to 2023, Enno Gröhn was a

church music assistant and organist at St. Petri Church in Hamburg.

He is a multiple award winner in the field of organ improvisation: In July 2022,

he won both the first prize and the audience prize at the Bach Biennale

Improvisation Competition in Weimar. In September 2022, he took first place at

the Cologne Competition for Organ Improvisation held at Trinitatiskirche. In

July 2023, he won both the first prize and audience prize at the 18th

International Competition for Organ Improvisation in Schwäbisch Gmünd. In

July 2024, he won the first prize (Piet Kee Award) and audience prize at the

International Competition for Organ Improvisation in Haarlem (Netherlands).

Since October 2022, he has been a teacher in organ improvisation at the

Hochschule für Kirchenmusik in Herford and since 2023 at the Hochschule für

Künste in Bremen. Since 2024 he teaches organ improvisation at the

Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg and at the Hochschule für

Musik, Theater und Medien in Hannover.

As an organist and improviser, he is actively engaged in a vibrant international

concert career.
